El Comercio: Proponen nueva Bandera del Perú: ¿Cómo sería, cuál es su significado y qué colores tendría?

Recientemente, la congresista Nieves Limachi Quispe, exintegrante de Perú Libre, generó controversia al presentar una propuesta ciudadana que buscaba cambiar totalmente la bandera del Perú en su diseño, forma y colores.

Así, la propuesta de la parlamentaria de Perú Democrático recogía el clamor del ciudadano Marcos Fortunato Mendoza Huamán, quien en su libro “Innovemos y enmendemos el color y diseño de nuestra bandera nacional”, explica las razones por las que un cambio de esta magnitud sería necesario. 

Mendoza Huamán le propuso esta idea a la congresista Limachi el 29 de diciembre del 2021; sin embargo, el ciudadano ya había enviado el proyecto al congresista Raúl Machaca (Frepap), entre 2020 y 2021, pero su trámite no avanzó.

¿Cómo sería la nueva bandera?

La idea del cambio de la bandera nacional supone cuatro colores: verde, amarillo, rojo y azul, con un Sol al lado izquierdo.

El color verde representaría a la selva peruana, el color amarillo a la sierra, el rojo a toda la región costera y el azul al mar.

Los tres primeros colores aparecerían de manera horizontal en la bandera y el azul del mar en forma de triángulo al lado izquierdo.

Para el ciudadano Marcos Mendoza, sería importante también agregarle un símbolo como el Sol, lo que denominó un “símbolo de vida”, el mismo que representó “un dios para los Incas”.

The first three colors would appear horizontally on the flag and the blue of the sea in the form of a triangle on the left side.

For citizen Marcos Mendoza, it would also be important to add a symbol such as the Sun, which he called a "symbol of life", the same one that represented "a god for the Incas".
